alright, so! this is going to happen very soon! like... monday. so if you want to get signed up to open, then sign up now or forever hold your peace. as i said, the event will start on monday, with lorelai starting it off, since she's the first act on. her entire act will be one post, with a limit of 1000 words, and those after her will follow in the same format. for single performers (like rory), the word limit will be 1000 words for the entire performance. for bands, it'll be a 450 word limit, since each band member will probably want to post a little something, and since there are so many people in the band, it'd be best if they were short-ish. don't worry if you go over a little, but don't go overboard. make sure to include a link to a video on youtube of the song they'll be singing when they announce it. as i said, there will be an example in the first posts when we get there. if a band member doesn't end up posting, its not a bif deal. as for those not in bands, regular threads can be set up, just with the music in the background. so if jill and dan are sitting on the lawns, and the riot van starts playing a slow, romantic song, it would be a good time for dan to lean over and kiss jill, if she's into it. know what i mean? try and use the music to your advantage. we're super excited for this event!
