All my life I've • • • been good but now,• • •
woah, I'm thinking • • •what the hell• • •
Today was going to be a pretty sweet day for Brigitte. She was going out for another date with her boyfriend Rowan tonight. She had met him over the summer when she came to visit London. After all she needed to get familiar with London since it would be her home for a while. Beauxbatons was almost completely destroyed and Hogwarts had decided to help out by housing the students of Beaubatons and Durmstrang till their schools were fixed. She had been buying her new supplied for school when she bumped into Rowan. They got to talking and became really good friends, and grew closer when she was sorted into Slytherin. Somehow this lead to them becoming a couple. It all happened one day in the Slytherin common room. He was talking about how he was trying to get over another girl that he loved and needed something to take his mind off of her. Brigitte than leaned over and gave him a quick peck on the lips before pulling away ashamed of her actions. This lead to them having a heavy kiss on the couch, so they decided to date each other. She was really happy about them being a couple, but from time to time she finds it very awkward. There just seems to be times where she just feels like he isn't a hundred percent into it. Brigitte looked around her room trying to find the finishing touches to her outfit.
Brigitte was wearing a multi colored dress in greenish blue tints with a cute yellow belt at her waist. It flowed out at the hips so she didn't look trampy. Her blonde hair was pulled back in a half pony half down look with a matching bow in the pony section of her hair. Her hair was also in it natural curly state for the entire day. She slipped into her black ballet flats. She loved the color black when she had a bright color on already. She didn't like looking like she was over bright or else she'd have on a matching colored shoe. She slipped into her pearl with diamond earrings that her mother had bought for her. She then tied the ribbon of her necklace behind her back completing her look. She decided to skip the make up. Brigitte wasn't one for looking really made up at all and would rather be natural. She took one more look at herself and was amazed how just a few things could make her look so beautiful. This date wasn't going to be anything fancy since it was too bloody cold for her to be caught outside. She was used to the beautiful French weather that she wasn't ready for the harsh London winter.
Brigitte than headed to the Astronomy Tower, where they would be having a picnic for lunch. Brigitte loved the night, but Rowan wasn't a fan of night time at all. She never really understood why, but she never ever saw him on the night of a full moon. She walked past many students dressed in their robes heading to lunch. She had to fight her way through the mobs of girls and guys headed at her giving her strange looks. Normally she'd be heading to the Great Hall with everyone, but today was a special day. She'd had been on one date with Rowan, and she had a blast so needless to say she was excited for their date. She opened the door to the tower and found it empty for the moment. She must have been a little bit early. She smiled and walked over to the window over looking the castle grounds. Brigitte had to admit the snow looked lovely on the ground, but the down side was that it was still cold outside. Brigitte refused to wear pants or a proper winter coat, which meant she'd stay inside the castle during these months. She then head foot steps behind her, but she wanted to play cool today in front of him.

drop a heart and break a name, we're always sleeping in and sleeping for the wrong team rowan wasn't a big fan of hot weather. that was one of the many reasons why he absolutely adored london; it was cold, 99.9 percent of the time. ryder and aus probably thought he was crazy -- now that he thought about it, everyone probably did. summer was one thing that everyone at hogwarts looked forward to aside from christmas holiday; school was out, the sun was up, and it wouldn't kill you to take a dip in the lake. it probably wouldn't have killed rowan regardless, but he wasn't about to display those abilities that everyone else seemed to lack. he had to hide the fact that he was so much stronger than everyone else, but even rowan knew that he wasn't the only werewolf at hogwarts. there were vampires, too -- he could tell. there was just that weird, underlying disgust with certain people that he couldn't quite explain -- and if anyone knew rowan greyback, they'd know that he didn't just up and hate someone for no reason whatsoever. a werewolf knew when a vampire was around, there was no getting around those instincts and abilities. rowan had learned to deal and cope with the fact that he wasn't normal -- he would never be normal. that was one of the main reasons why he hadn't disclosed who he really was to anyone aside from ryder and austin. they were his two closest friends -- if they told a soul, well....needless to say, rowan knew that it would have to be a life or death situation before they told anyone, and even then he wasn't entirely sure that they would snitch on him. loyalty was one thing that the three of them shared, and rowan couldn't have been more lucky to have such loyal friends.
sure, that was virtually written in a gryffindor's code of ethics -- as well as a hufflepuff's -- but he was pretty sure that aus and ryder had other reasons for being as great a friend as they were to him. he couldn't dwell upon their reasoning for an extended amount of time, however, because just as soon as he did, he'd begin to wonder why they were friends with him in the first place. who wanted to be the best friend of a werewolf? plenty of people probably would have, but rowan would be the last person to believe that. tugging on a coat and his slytherin scarf, he proceeded down the dormitory stairs, tucking his wand inside his pocket. it wasn't like he needed to worry about tonight, though hopefully they would be back before then. it wasn't so much the fact that he would be turning tonight, but there was always a chance of something happening at night...and being who he was, and how he was, he couldn't let that happen. not even if the girl was brigitte. and that was definitely saying something. rowan hadn't even told kyra about this yet, although he was fairly sure that as bright as she was, there stood a chance of her already knowing. bridg, well....she and rowan were perfect for one another. she provided a brilliant distraction from oliver, and when he was with her he rarely thought of anyone else. as beautiful as she was, it was nearly impossible. which, for him, was definitely a good thing. as for him being good for her, well...she didn't ask any questions, and they didn't stay out late at night, which meant that he didn't stand a chance of hurting her. which would be completely accidental if he did, but regardless, that was the main reason why he didn't keep her out late at night. that, and the potential of something else happening at night...something that she would get away with, but would leave him tied to her forever. rowan simply couldn't deal with that, even if brigitte truly was one of the most lovely girls he'd ever met.
tossing the thought aside, rowan glanced again at his watch, smiling as he began to walk up the stairs towards the astronomy tower. they were going to have a picnic instead of going to hogsmeade, simply so they could enjoy the weather that the day had to offer. for one reason or the next, it was actually warmer than it generally was, meaning that their date would probably go even better than the last, if that was even possible. it wasn't to the point of being able to wear shorts and a t-shirt, but it was still better than the frigid, winter months. despite being in slytherin, the two of them could laugh and talk about pretty much anything. rowan's perception of slytherin students often associated with the idea of his father and how he was -- something that rowan refused to identify with. he was the last person in the world that would want to be outwardly rude to someone just for the sake of appearing better than everyone else. not only did he disagree with it, but he was fairly certain that ryder and aus would have his head if they found out about it. kyra probably wouldn't be too happy with him, either. that was one thing about having the friends that he did: no matter how dark he sometimes felt, any of them could easily bring him up out of that. rowan climbed the last stair of the astronomy tower, another smile appearing upon his lips as his eyes fell upon his flawless girlfriend. "'ello, miss. see, i'm meeting my girlfriend for lunch today. she's about this tall, stunning green eyes, and the most beautiful smile i've ever seen. haven't seen her, have you?" stepping closer with a slight grin, rowan leaned forward to press his lips lightly to hers. they weren't the couple of the year, but rowan definitely cared about brigitte. and today was merely about showing her a small, but genuine piece of his affection.

All my life I've • • • been good but now,• • •
woah, I'm thinking • • •what the hell• • •
Brigitte absolutely hated the harsh winter of London. It was unfamiliar to her since she was born and raised in the southern part of France. No matter how hard she worked at her English, you could still hear the presence of her french accent. Of course it wasn't so bad that you couldn't understand her at all. Since she was used to warmer weather, her wardrobe was totally not enough to keep her warm at all. She owned a few dresses, yoga type pants, dress like shirts and leggings. Ever since she could remember, she has hated pants and how they feel. She doesn't own a single pair of jeans which left her legs exposed to the cold harsh London weather. She couldn't wait for it to get warmer or for her school to be rebuilt so she could go home. Of course, she'd miss her new friends and Rowan who she really liked a lot, but for some reason her mind kept thinking about Dimitri.
After five years of avoiding him and hating his juts, she finally ran into him. Well more like he walked in on her singing and managed to get them locked in that classroom. That didn't bring on the best of memories. It was like being locked in that library all over again only this time she was stuck with the person she believed hated her guts and she hated his too. This led to them being forced to talk to each other where he came out and told her that he was putting on a show for his friend, and led to her telling him the way his friends treated her ever since the library incident. She wanted to bang her head against the wall every time she thought about Dimitri and the way her heart fluttered at that thought. She was with Rowan and was happy with him. Why was she falling for the man who treated her like crap for the past five years? Why did it seem that her old young girl crush on him was resurfacing?
Rowan was good for her. She had lost all faith in guys since her first year at Beauxbatons. She just thought every guy was a complete ass and only wanted to see her in pain. Both Dimitri and his friends had made her feel that way and it wasn't till she met Rowan that she thought differently. True she had met other guys who were nice, but she always thought that somehow they'd hurt her. Then this past summer when she met Rowan and he treated her so well. That was the moment she found her faith in guys. Then when she saw him sitting in the same common room as hers, she was so happy to at least know someone here. One thing led to another and they ended up becoming a couple. Brigitte had no idea how that happened, but it felt so good to have someone there for her.
The best part about her and Rowan was that it was so easy. She never saw him at night time or have a million questions asked about what she was up to. It made the relationship carefree and un-stressful for her. She never felt like she had to question him either about anything. She could care less if he was hanging out with other girls at all. She had complete faith in their relationship, except for the little problem between Brigitte and Dimitri. She would never tell any one about the kiss the two shared in that classroom. The kiss that made her think that Dimitri was her second half. That kiss felt ten times better than any kiss she shared with Rowan. It was like the universe was telling her to be with Dimitri and dump Rowan. How could she do that when Rowan treated her so much better than Dimitri ever did, and they always had a great time talking and laughing. She could dump him, and she had to stay away from Dimitri.
She continued to look out the window waiting for Rowan to show up soon. This would be their second date, and she was excited for it, but still her heart was screaming Dimitri's name with each beat it made. It was so annoying that he was all she could think about since being locked up with him. She wasn't sure if she'd forgive him, but she would at least help him with his sister. He at least deserved the chance to make it right with his sister. She sighed and let her head smack the window trying to rid herself thoughts of Dimitri. Brigitte turned her self around and not to long after she saw Rowan standing in front of her. He was very good looking for sure. He had the most gorgeous set of eyes that could suck anyone into them for a lifetime. He was completely flawless, and she had no idea why someone like him would be into her. Brigitte wasn't as pretty as some of the girls here, at least that is how she felt.
Finally he spoke talking about her and how pretty she was. Of course, Brigitte didn't feel this way at all. She felt like the ugly duckling compared to most girls. No matter where she was, she never felt pretty enough. Maybe she was just used to harsh words and actions from the opposite sex. She smiled and noticed him walk closer to her so she quickly said Maybe I have, maybe I haven't? I'll tell you if you can help me find my boyfriend. He is also meeting me up here and about as tall as you are with smoldering greenish blue eyes and is the kindest guy in the world. Not to mention he is into me and very handsome to boot. Maybe you know him he's also a slytherin. She said as he pulled her in a kissed her ever so softly. It was one of the things she loved about him. Most guys grabbed their girlfriends and planted a hot and heavy kiss almost like they were ready to rip each others clothes off. With Rowan, he was romantic and never once tried to force her into his bed. It was a nice change of pace from other guys.

drop a heart and break a name, we're always sleeping in and sleeping for the wrong team it wasn't that hard to like brigitte welcester. that was one of the main reasons why he found his relationship with her to be so enjoyable. she was pretty easy to talk to, aside from the one thing that he didn't tell most people, and she seemed to enjoy his company as well. rowan greyback wasn't dim, so he could obviously tell that she was distracted most of the time, and he had to believe that it was by someone else. but he was in the same boat, so that was simply another thing about their relationship that worked. if he was with brigitte, other girls left him alone. and as long as he was with her, he really didn't have to worry about getting himself into trouble. they understood each other pretty well, so rowan honestly didn't have to worry about trying to get her into bed all the time. he wouldn't have done that anyway, but...still, it was nice knowing that she didn't expect him to do that. as long as they were together, he wouldn't have to worry about falling for anyone else. oliver abercrombie, in particular. merlin, he could hardly get that girl out of his head. she was slightly younger than him, but at seventeen....well, age really wasn't a determining factor. it was only two years younger, wasn't it? rowan thought she looked just as old as he did, so that wasn't something that he frequently dwelled upon. not lately, anyways.
the idea to have a picnic had to do with the fact that if they went out to hogsmeade, they would more than likely stay until dark. rowan wasn't afraid of the dark by any stretch of the imagination -- but he knew what happened after dark. young couples snuck back to their dormitories after dark and...well, did what was naturally understandable for someone his age. but rowan couldn't do the things that normal kids his age did. if he had, he would be tied to that same person forever. he frequently wondered what it would be like to be tied to oliver for the rest of his life. not that he thought about...well, you know, but to spend his life with the one girl he couldn't get off of his mind? yeah, that sounded pretty agreeable. oliver greyback didn't sound too shabby, really, but rowan knew good and well that he would actually have to talk to her first. merlin, he had no idea why his brain had decided to run with the idea of them being together. ry had scolded him for that only a week prior, and here he was thinking about her again. yes, he tended to stare at her whenever he saw her in public. but had bridg been there to distract him, he might not have felt so tempted. that was what she was for, brigitte. they had a general agreement between one another -- they were distracting each other from someone they felt they needed, but really couldn't afford to be with.
rowan couldn't help but admire her for a moment as she answered his previous question. "hm, doesn't seem to ring a bell. i'll let him know you were looking for him, though." he allowed a boyish grin, leaning back in for another short kiss as he reached for the small picnic basket against the wall. waving his wand towards the blanket, it stretched across the floor beside them. he smiled faintly as he set the basket down and sat down on the blanket, sliding his wand back into his pocket. "so, how was your day?" he asked, motioning for her to sit across from him. rowan wasn't the best at small talk, but he could generally talk to bridg about anything.

All my life I've • • • been good but now,• • •
woah, I'm thinking • • •what the hell• • •
Brigitte loved being with Rowan. He made her feel special and wanted unlike the guys who treated her like crap back in the day. She could recall the way she had been treated her freshman year by Dimitri's friends. It was the one thing she had never told anyone about till she was locked with Dimitri. He had asked her if she had ever been bullied, and it kind of slipped out about what had happened to her. She could recall how they would trap her in the hall ways so that her back was against the wall and they'd tug on her hair and mess with her. They would even lock her into closets till they felt like letting her out. She promised to never tell anyone about that ever. Being with Rowan meant that guys would stay away from her. It was as if they knew Rowan was a strong person who'd protect her. She understood how Rowan felt. He was like her in many ways were they didn't seem to belong in Slytherin, but were placed there none the less. She loved just being around him talking and laughing about stupid stuff. She knew his secrets, and he knew some of hers. She was sure he had some secrets he was keeping as well.
Brigitte's thoughts about her deepest secrets seem to bring up Dimitri again. Yes, they had shared a few hours trapped in that classroom, which was another secret she'd kept from Rowan. They had shared a kiss that night too, and she knew it was wrong to cheat on Rowan. She couldn't ever do that again to him, but at the same time that kiss had felt so right to Brigitte. Her mind wanted Rowan because of how good he was for her, but her stupid heart cried for Dimitri because of their chemistry since they were children. She had liked Dimitri back in the day and was excited to be at Beauxbatons with him. She could picture herself married to him and being Brigitte Garnier. It sounded so perfect in her mind, but she didn't want to hurt Rowan. He'd shown her so much compassion since she met him in the summer. Plus, who was to say if Dimitri loved her or not. That was one of the reasons she had handed him flowers that one summer day before her first year, but once at Beauxbatons he had shattered her heart. That was what her mind kept telling her.
Brigitte was never a fan of going to Hogsmeade. The place scared her half to death plus the fact they'd be there till late at night on a full moon. She loved full moons more than anything, and if she could she'd be right here all night long with the stars. It was something she was a fan of doing, and she hasn't been caught yet. She had no idea where her love of stars came from, but could take a guess and say that it was from her lullaby. It talked about a girl with her name who loved night time and the stars. Her favorite night of the year was the longest night, which was brigitte's favorite night. She would stay up all night on the winter solstice and watch the tides and stars. The song was very true for Brigitte, almost like it was written for her.
She loved his kisses too, but she could get Dimitri's kiss off her mind. When they had kissed, she had felt butterflies in the pit of her stomach. It was such a good feeling, and one she had felt with Rowan, but now his kiss tasted so sour in her mouth. It was as sour as sucking on a lemon wedge, and it took her whole mind and body to not scrunch up her face in disgust. She knew she had to end it with Rowan, and it would be fine with her. He always seemed distracted around her too as if he liked someone else. Why should they force each other to be a couple when they knew it'd never work? She'd never voice this to him, just in case she was wrong. Well thank you sir, but I think I just found him. I hope you find your girl. she said with a giggle. She followed him and sat down, very lady like, on the blanket across from him. The only thing between them was the picnic basket. Today has been a good day. A few days ago I experienced another traumatic event like the library story I told you. Somehow I managed to get locked up in an abandoned classroom. Remember the day I didn't show up for Dinner? That is why I wasn't there. I'm looking forward to sleeping up here tonight with the moon and the stars. It's going to be a full moon tonight. Let's just hope I continue to get away without being caught. she answered him back.
