World, meet Damien Bode Flint.
the basics
Hello everyone! I'm Norrah and this is the eldest son of the Flints, Damien Bode. He's twenty-two years old, a former Slytherin, and works as a Hit Wizard (think SWAT in the magic world) for the British Ministry of Magic.
Now, you're probably thinking, he seems like an alright/nice/normal guy. Nein, fraulein! Behind that smile is perhaps one of the most fucked up people you'll meet. For now, at least. You see, his girlfriend killed herself at the beginning of his sixth year, and Damien blames himself completely. The guy's got problems to work through -- and he will, but not anytime soon.
So, what is Damien really like?
Damien is basically married to his job. When he's on the clock, he is all about his work. Damien's job is primarily taking down the nastiest and most dangerous people of the wizarding world, but he hunts and captures even your garden-variety low-life criminals. The first thing you'll notice about him if you run into him is that he takes his work very seriously. He'll stop at nothing to bring his assignment in, even (and especially) if that means stepping on the toes of his superiors. Damien hates:
• bureaucratic bullshit ("what, you think that the murderings will stop just so we can file these requests?")
• regulations that limit what he can and can't do as a member of magical law enforcement ("with all these rules, you're just giving my target an advantage")
• when Aurors swoop down and take over a case ("can't meet your monthly quota, or something? find your own bad guys.").
Once he clocks out, Damien is a very different person. Everyone has their vices, but Damien actively indulges as many of them as he can with no regard to consequences. Drugs, alcohol, women, underground wrestling clubs. On the upside, he does know where to draw the line -- you won't find a trace of intoxicants in his system by the time he has to come in to work the next morning. Damien is in a dangerous line of work, and as such, makes sure he lives every day like it's his last (because it just might be).

friends
Well, first of all, he loves his brother Derrick, and his sister Euphemia to death. And if you end up being a close friend, chances are, Damien would do anything for you, no questions asked.
He tries to be friendly and decent to everyone he meets, but in true Slytherin fashion, he tends to use his "friends" to get what he wants/needs. He can be spotted socializing with just about anyone at parties, however. Damien is extremely close to the witches and wizards in his unit, but he also needs buddies in the form of:
• friends of the family (especially Slytherins/purebloods), underage or not
• ministry workers or other adults he might run into
• former or current Slytherins that he'd know either through his siblings, or siblings of his classmates

Remember how he's at the very least civil with everyone at first? Well, that will last all of fifteen minutes if he decides he doesn't like you. You could fill a book with things that piss him off, but his enemies will most likely be people that he's pissed off himself. One exception to this, though: if you mess around with his sister Effie (and to a lesser extent, his brother Derrick), and he finds out about it, you'll be at the top of his personal hit list (so, you know... don't let him find out).
lovers
Damien seems to have a thing for sleeping with girls significantly younger than him (Calliope Davies, Molly Weasley). That being said, he's open to sex or a relationship with just about any girl provided she's decent-looking. Be warned: his heart will ultimately belong to Cali (unless Adgey has quit) and he is likely to be an unfaithful or otherwise bad boyfriend.
